Fiabilandia: what to see, opening times and how to get there from the hotel

01Fiabilandia at a glance

A day out with the kids from Hotel Viking, the Antonioli family’s family hotel in Viserbella di Rimini: Fiabilandia is Rimini’s long-established fairy-tale park in Rivazzurra, designed mainly for children aged 2 to 10, with rides, a lake and shows.

It’s 14.9 km from the hotel, about 25 minutes by car. After the park, head back to the pool or the beach, 100 metres from the hotel.

03What to see

Since 2005 the park has specialised in children aged 2-10.

Official attractions include: Spacemouse, Il Castello di Mago Merlino, Il Lago del Sogno, La Baia di Peter Pan, La Miniera d'Oro, Fiaby Boat, Villaggio Apache, Fiabilandia Express, Fort Laramie, Il Cinema 4D, Red Mountain, Castoria, Lo Scivolone Gigante, Capitan Nemo Adventure, Il Borgo Magico, La Valle degli Gnomi.

From June to September two water areas are open, Isola Maui and Palm Beach (with an 8-metre-high castle and a 30-metre slide): bring a swimming costume.

Tickets are valid for 2 consecutive days ('the next day you get in free', with a wristband to collect from the I Segreti di Merlino shop) and include all available rides and shows.

In the 1980s the park was home to Carlo Rambaldi's King Kong, used in the 1976 film; it was dismantled in the early 1990s.
