01Macfrut 2027: where to stay in Rimini
Macfrut, the international fruit and vegetable fair, returns to the Rimini Expo Centre (Fiera di Rimini) from Tuesday 20 to Thursday 22 April 2027 for its 44th edition. It is organised by Cesena Fiera and brings together the whole supply chain: growers, cooperatives, exporters, retail chains, technology, logistics and packaging. For 2027 the organisers have announced Chile as guest country, Piedmont as partner region and kiwi as symbol product.
Hotel Viking is a family-run 3-star hotel in Viserbella di Rimini, 5 km from the exhibition centre. In April we are open as always: air-conditioned rooms, buffet breakfast, private car park in front of the hotel and the Antonioli family at reception.
02From the hotel to Macfrut in 10 minutes
For Macfrut many people arrive by car or van with samples and stand materials: from the hotel you reach the East entrance in a few minutes, and your vehicle stays in our private car park.

On fair days, from Viserbella you travel against the traffic: in the morning you get into the fair without queues and in the evening you’re back at the hotel in a few minutes. At reception we’ll give you the shuttle timetable and stop.
03Fruit, vegetables and home cooking
People who work in fruit and vegetables know good produce when they see it. Our cooking is that of a Romagna family: seasonal vegetables, homemade piadina, hand-rolled pasta and Adriatic fish. In the garden we have fruit trees, citrus and herbs that we also use in the kitchen.
In the morning there is a buffet breakfast with homemade cakes, fruit, yoghurt and juices; in the evening, on request, dinner with Nadia's cooking, for small groups of exhibitors and buyers too. Discover our Romagna cooking.

The day before the opening, Monday 19 April, the Macfrut N.E.X.T. preview takes place. With buyers from all over the world and around a hundred meetings and conferences, hotels near the Expo Centre fill up quickly: if you already have your dates, book early.

How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible: rates go up as the hotel fills, and for the biggest fairs hotels near the Expo Centre fill up weeks in advance.
