01Over 35 years in tourism in Rimini
We are the Antonioli family, from Rimini born and bred. We have worked in tourism since 1980, and since 1992 we have been hoteliers here in Viserbella: first at Hotel Perla Verde and, since 2002, at Hotel Viking. Today we run Hotel Viking, a 3-star hotel in Viserbella di Rimini, 150 metres from the sea.
Over all these years we have met guests from all over Europe: from Rome, Naples and Milan, from Munich, Belgium, Switzerland and Lyon. Many have become friends and come back every summer: you'll find them in the garden, always ready for a chat in the shade of the trees.
02Each to their own role
Over the years each of us has found our place, following our own passions:
- Nadia is the backbone of our Romagna cooking: her recipes are family recipes.
- Guerrino looks after the restaurant.
- Andrea is on reception and is a sommelier and concierge: he chooses the wines and suggests what to do in Rimini and in the inland hills.
- Alan divides his time between reception, the bar and the front desk.
Now the third generation is on its way: the older grandchildren already help run the hotel, the youngest play in the garden with the guests' children, on the slide or at table tennis.
03Viki is part of our team too!
The latest arrival in the team is Viki, our big cuddly red bird: he has become the hotel mascot and you'll find him around the hotel, often comfortably settled on an armchair.
Children look for him as soon as they arrive, and if you'd like a selfie with him he'll be delighted. We look forward to welcoming you and your family, so you can become part of the big Hotel Viking family too.
04Why choose a family-run hotel
- We're always here. We live in the hotel: that's why we are open all year round, winter included, for fairs, work, sport and holidays.
- We answer ourselves. On the phone, on WhatsApp and at reception you talk directly to the family, not a call centre.
- Home cooking. Buffet breakfast with homemade cakes and, at dinner, Nadia's Romagna and seafood cooking.
- Returning guests are family. Many guests have been coming back for years, and those who return always get special attention.
- A hotel that keeps growing. Every year we add something: the renovated bathrooms, the Junior Suites for families, the weekly barbecue in the garden, the solar panels and the electric car charging points.

06Our hotel today
Hotel Viking is the result of all this work: a 3-star hotel in Viserbella di Rimini, 150 metres from the sea, with a saltwater pool and hot tub, a tree-lined garden and parking right in front of the entrance. We built it with many different kinds of guests in mind, because over the year we really do meet them all.
In summer families with children arrive, and for them we are a family hotel; in spring and autumn, people coming for the fair, for work or for a visit to Villa Salus; all year round, anyone who needs an accessible hotel. We try to give everyone what they need, with the same care we would show a friend of the family.
