01Why choose Viserbella
Viserbella is the northern part of Rimini: quieter than the centre, with wide beaches, a seafront promenade for evening strolls and everything close at hand. In front of the hotel runs the Parco del Mare, the pedestrian seafront promenade with a cycle path that goes all the way to Rimini centre.
Rimini centre, Fellini’s Grand Hotel and the nightlife are a few minutes away by car or bus, while Italia in Miniatura is about 1 km away as the crow flies. It’s the ideal choice if you want the sea of the Romagna Riviera, but at a more relaxed pace.
02The partner beach: Bagno 53 Neri
For our guests there’s the partner beach Bagno 53 Neri in Viserbella, a short walk from the hotel: an umbrella and sunloungers at a beach establishment we know well. Ask at reception when you book and we’ll give you all the details.
You enter along a wooden boardwalk between flower beds and lawn, with a rack to leave your bike. There are straw gazebos with tables in the shade, a play area for children and, on the terrace, a hot tub overlooking the beach.
03A typical day at Hotel Viking
- Morning: breakfast included, then a few steps and you’re on the beach.
- Afternoon: relax in the heated pool (open from late May to early September) or in the hot tub in the garden.
- Evening: dinner with homemade Romagna and seafood cooking, an aperitif at the bar and a stroll along the seafront promenade.
- Once a week: the barbecue in the garden.
04At the seaside with children
For families there’s kids’ entertainment on the beach, the fenced garden with playground, table tennis and table football, and the Junior Suite with two connecting rooms. On the beach, at Bagno Neri 53, there’s a big playground on the sand with swings, slides and play houses.

05At the seaside with your dog
The Viking is a pet friendly hotel: dogs are welcome (€6 per night) and there’s a partner beach where they can enjoy the seaside too.
Dogs are allowed everywhere in the hotel except the dining room, as required by municipal regulations. The garden is fenced and the car park is right in front of the entrance.
